ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This two-day workshop is open to all  professionals and amateurs who want and need to explore their voice under diverse dynamic and expressive parameters. We will delve into vocal self-knowledge for free voice management, generating our own vocal identity. Multiple articulations and vocal sounds … a freedom without conditions, guided by knowledge of the instrument itself.

General purpose:

Provide bases of breathing, dissociation, vocal support, broadcast, projection and improvisation to the speaker to reach awareness in the interpretation and reinterpretation of what has been said. Make the body conscious as an instrument and the voice as a natural and dynamic sound capable of expressing in different ways what is wanted to be expressed.

Breathing:

We will approach the breath as the fundamental basis of the vocal and motor emission of the life of the stage artist (vocal support); from the body itself, who produces the sound. Re-learn; remember something that is done by instinct and survival effortlessly and daily to help us in the support and emission of the voice without hurting us.

Dynamics:

The work of the voice through sound images. Principles of acting and corporal expression will help the performer to establish a link between his instrument: his body and his voice.

Topics addressed:

– Human Voice

– Vocal technique

– Knowing myself through my voice – My sounds and my art (colouring)
